Gifts for your loved one

Evergreens - there are a number of gifts that can be given to everyone - regardless of gender and age. At least we think so. Maybe you can get some good inspiration here? These gift ideas are particularly well-suited as Christmas gifts and birthday gifts.

NOTE: For anniversaries and Valentine's Day, you might want to go with something a bit more romantic. You will find some such gift ideas further down on the page.

  • Board games for at least two players A good board game is also a fun and relaxing way to get to know each other.
  • Lego sets or a jigsaw puzzle If your loved one is the creative type who likes something challenging to occupy themselves with.
  • Clothes Clothes always work - if you get the size right! A classic t-shirt or a pair of nice-looking will probably work for most people.
  • Trainers You can never have too many trainers! If you know your partner's favourite brand and size, buying the right pair should be a no-brainer.
  • Sunglasses A classic accessory that never goes out of style. If your partner is the type who can never remember where they put their sunglasses, then an extra pair can't hurt.
  • Watch A watch is a matter of taste - but again, a classic accessory that never goes out of style. Is your partner the watch type?
  • Headphones Who doesn't use headphones these days? Maybe your girlfriend or boyfriend needs a pair of sound-isolating over-ears for school or work, or maybe a pair of in-ears for the gym?

Do you think these gifts are too unoriginal and impersonal? Then you can find inspiration for personal gifts for her or for him here.

Romantic gift for your significant other

Romantic gifts for your boyfriend or girlfiend can be difficult to come up with - especially if you've been dating for a while. But it's always nice to mark an anniversary with a gift, to let them know that you care about your partner and your time together.

The classic choice for a romantic gift is a piece of jewellery, or some other symbol of your life together. However, it can also be very different from person to person what they think it romantic. One rule of thumb could be to bet on a gift that creates time together as a couple.

On Valentine's Day, the probably most classic gift is red roses, chocolate and love letters. But if you want to go for something a little bit different - a gift that can create some shared memories - then you can get some inspiration here.

  • A pleasant foot bath Pamper your partner, and perhaps yourself, with some extra self-care. A foot bath with some foot bath salts is always nice and cosy. Then you can enjoy a spa day together at home - every Sunday!

  • Movie night at home Are you the type who loves to enjoy yourself with a good film or TV show and a good batch of mix-your-own sweets or popcorn? Then you can make it an extra enjoyable experience by setting up a home cinema, with a projector screen, projector and a lot of pillows and blankets - so you can really snuggle up to each other. The luxury edition of Netflix and chill.

  • A trip into nature Pack a cooler bag with food and drink and take a blanket under the arm. Then you are ready for a pleasant walk in the forest or a romantic date on the beach. If you're going out on a warm summer evening, remember a mosquito candle - it's both cosy and keeps the bugs at bay!

  • A delicious dinner There is actually no better place for deep conversations and looking into each other's eyes than over a good dinner at the dining table or out on the town. But often it ends up being a quick dinner on the sofa in front of the TV. That's why it's a really romantic gift to make dinner something a little extra. You can make your favourite dish, light a few candles, set a nice table - and voilà , romance is served!

  • Cultural experience Is your partner particularly fond of a band, an artist, or some historical period? A day or evening at a concert, at a museum or in the theater just the two of you - it's something that creates memories for life. Remember to take pictures, so you can preserve these memories forever.
