For a while the Dyson Airwrap has been out of stock and as it turns out it was all in preparation for a new and improved Airwrap, along with new and improved attachments. Here is a run through of all the upgrades and if it really out performs the original model.
The Dyson Aiwrap has been incredibly popular in the past few years, despite its hefty price tag it has gartered a cult following due to its innovative air flow technology that decreases damage done to the hair by using air flow instead of high temperatures for styling.
According to Dyson the Airwrap has been radically redesigned, along with a new series of re-vamped attachments. The complete set is available for purchase now and a set of attachments will be available in the coming weeks. The new attachments will be compatible with the old Dyson Airwrap so there is no need to buy a new wand, unfortunately this means that the older models will most likely not drop in price. These are the upgrades and new attachments.
Coanda to curl is an improvement on the classic barrels. You will now be able to switch the direction of the airflow by simply pressing a switch. Previously you would have two different barrels that each would create either clockwise or anti-clockwise shapes, so you would have to constantly switch between the two during styling.
Enhanced Coanda airflow attracts hair to the surface of the re-engineered brushes to shape your hair with increased control for straight styles.
The new Coanda to smooth attachments are supposed to dry your hair faster and give more control when styling along with a smoother result as the increased airflow will pick up more flyaways. Two jets of air work simultaneously on dry and straight hair to smooth and perfect your end style, with up to 58% less frizz and flyaways.
The complete new Dyson Airwrap is now available. A set of separate attachments will be available at the end of March.
