Three tips before buying a wet & dry vacuum cleaner
Just like vacuuming at home, it’s so much easier if your vacuum cleaner isn't a barrier to reaching all the places that need to be cleaned. So look for vacuum cleaners with long and flexible hoses and power cords. Also check for a convenient container in which the filter is cleverly located when vacuuming liquids. - Flat nozzle – allows you to vacuum in nooks and crannies.
- Wide and moist nozzle – a wider nozzle that allows you to clean tougher areas, as the nozzle also “mops” the surface. Can also be used for cleaning carpets.
- Blow nozzle – this nozzle is adapted for heavy-duty vacuum cleaners with a blowing function. For example, you can blow off dusty surfaces, or blow leaves and rubbish out from the garage.

It is therefore a good idea to take a closer look at how well-thought-out the emptying is, and which filters the vacuum cleaner uses. If you need to vacuum up a lot of water, also check how the vacuum cleaner handles this. Some variants, for example, have smart solutions with plugs that can be pulled out, or you can even connect hoses to them, to facilitate the easy emptying of fluids.
