Three tips when buying a water container

We need three litres of water a day, so bear that in mind when choosing your container. Think about how many of you will be using the water and how long you’ll be able to last with it. Bear in mind that you have to be able to easily carry the container and refill the water. For example, a 20-litre water container weighs 20 kilograms when full. Therefore, it may be better to buy several smaller containers than one big one. If you don’t have a lot of free space, make sure you buy water containers that can be stacked on top of each other.

  • A tap makes it easy to pour water from the container without spilling. The water won’t get contaminated either, which can happen when you scoop the water.
  • A foldable water container takes up minimal space. It fits neatly in your crisis box or in the boot of the car, and it’s also easy to transport.
  • A large opening makes it easy to clean the container, letting you reach all areas.
