Three tips when buying a torch
The last thing you want is for your torch to be too weak, so make sure you choose one with a long range.
Lumen is the measure of the luminous flux of a light source: the higher the lumen, the brighter the light. 650 lumen and above is usually suitable for everyday use. Having a bright torch may be a good idea, but keep in mind that a high lumen can also cause the torch to quickly run out of battery. More than 1000 lumen can also make the torch quite heavy, so think about what is most important to you.
Solar chargers or cranked charging are particularly useful if you want to use the light in crisis situations where you may not have access to power or batteries.
