What will be the most popular gifts of 2020? After a big data analysis we at PriceRunner can already reveal the answer to you.
The Sony PlayStation 5 is without a doubt the most popular product this year and one that many surely hope to find underneath the Christmas Tree. This comes as no surprise and although it is largely sold out, we can always hope for some more stock to be released shortly.
The PlayStation 5 is this years most popular Christmas gift
Aside from the PS5 there are a few other interesting products topping the list, maybe unsurprisingly it is a year for the tech lovers as the top 10 most popular products are entirely tech related. Up there we have the 8th generation Apple iPad and not far behind we also have one of last years top products still topping the list, the AirPods Pro. On the top list we also have the Xbox Series X, and although not as popular as the PS5 it still ranked high. Toys were also topping the lists this year with Star Wars, Spiderman and Harry Potter products. That said there will most likely be a lot of hard presents under the tree this year.
Tech and toys may have been popular products this year but the surprising winner of the most popular category during December is actually fragrances which had the largest amounts of searches on PriceRunner during the Christmas month.
Fragrances was the most popular category for shopping Christmas gifts, and the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle EdP topped the list of most popular fragrances.
So what were the most searched for products in the fragrance category that we are most likely to see under the Christmas tree.
The animatronic Baby Yoda tops the list of most popular toy to get for Christmas.
Unsurprisingly the toys category topped the list this year, so which products have we been buying for our kids this year? It seems like there are many Lego and Barbie products, but on top of the list is actually an animatronic figure of Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian.
The Christmas list is compiled based on data and was conducted during the period of 1/12-15/12/2020
