2. Travel Journal

Keep your children occupied with some fun travel journal. This way not only will it help you children gage the scope of the trip you're taking, but also give them the opportunity to learn more about the destination you're travelling to.

3. Travel safe activities

Finding travel safe activities is actually perhaps more important than you. Although it may be tempting to bring a big bag of your kids favourite toys, try bringing only the toys that don't have a million little pieces. If not you run the risk of dropping them mid flight or travel and having a crying child while desperately scurrying the plane for that one barbie shoe.

4. Fun mugs and snacks

Just as it's important to have travel safe activities make sure that you have travel safe containers for snacks and drinks, so you don't have to deal with spillage and sticky fingers. A bento or lunch box is great and fun way to store snacks. Transferring liquids into a mug will help reduce potential spillage when travelling and is also more fun.

5. Backpack

There's a lot of things to keep track of when travelling, so let your child have their own backpack filled with their toys and snacks. Don't forget to add a few wet wipes and tissues, just in case you need it.

6. Sleeping things

If you're travelling far, make sure that you take into account how your child will nap or sleep. This can mean either bringing their favourite pillow and blanket or a travel pillow.

7. Charming Headphones

If your kids have a pad or game that they want to use during travel, make sure they have headphones that are made for children. This can help ease distress during travel and allow your kid to shut out external noise and impressions and just focus and show or game.
